Access to personal, portable light helps refugees in a number of ways. Here are just some of them:

🦺 Solar lights make camps safer at night and reduce fear amongst the community

🎓 They enhance children’s education by providing more hours of study after dark

🏥 They reduce air pollution from kerosene lamps and open fires, and directly improve the health of refugees

💰 They save households money, which they can spend elsewhere

🐍 They prevent encounters with wild animals which could be dangerous

👩‍👧‍👦 They reduce violence especially against women and children

That’s why in the last few months, we have been working with our partner REDESO Thanks to a donation from an anonymous foundation, we are now on a mission to distribute 7,056 Little Sun solar lamps and 360 Little Sun solar chargers in refugee camps and nearby villages in Tanzania.

Support us today to provide more refugees with the right tools to feel safer and help them rebuild their lives.
